Grande Bay Resort Cruz Bay, Cruz Bay

My stay at Grande Bay was quite mixed, to be honest. While the location was excellent with easy access to restaurants and the ferry, I had a rather unpleasant experience with unannounced maintenance that really soured my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, which was a highlight, but overall, I expected better communication and security during my stay.

The hotel offers a spacious apartment-like experience, but the kitchen was lacking essential items for cooking. The pool is small and not saltwater, and the hot tub had issues. Unfortunately, the customer service from the office staff was disappointing, making us feel unwelcome. While the location is convenient for access to the island, the overall experience left us hesitant to recommend this place for future stays.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Grande Bay. The suite was clean, well-equipped, and the views from our unit were stunning. It's a quick walk to restaurants and nightlife, which was perfect. However, our experience was slightly marred by an uncomfortable sofa bed and unexpected construction noise during our stay. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy St. John.

This property offers an amazing stay with stunning views and a great location right by Cruz Bay. Our condo was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, making it perfect for families. However, the shower heads really need replacing and there was a bit of an issue with a cranky neighbor that put a damper on our experience. Overall, we had a fabulous vacation, but there’s room for some improvements in certain aspects.
